Here are some anime I've actually enjoyed recently:

• Sword Art Online - MMORPG
• Noragami - minor god strives
• The Devil is a Part-Timer?! - demons in modern day, funny
• Monthly Girls Nozaki-Kun - about a manga artist, funny (first half)

Here are some others I've watched and mostly enjoyed

• Samurai Flamenco - vigilante
• Arpeggio of Blue Steel - naval battle
• something else I forget the name of

Here are some I've watched as part of Culture Night

• Samurai Champloo - cool samurais
• Cowboy Beebop - space bounty hunters
• The Vision of Escaflowne - mystical planet
• Angel Beats - troubled times in high school
• Fate Zero - heroes in tournament
• (also the Devil is a Part-Timer?!)
• Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

 I'm sure there have been others.

Basically, on Sundays, after iaido practise, we go to one of our member's homes and just watch anime for hours.
