Some people are concerned about Google's new personalised search features. I'm not, because I'm specifically opting in to use them: I don't need to search while logged in to a Google account, and I don't need to use Google, and I don't need to activate personalisation when I am logged in anyway. In fact, I really wish that, based on pages I've +1'd, it could realise that when I Google for Sherlock Holmes, I mean the brilliant BBC series with Benedict Cumberbatch and not the populist Robert Downey Jr. marathon. Personalisation and search intelligence does not know everything about us yet, though I wish it would already. ;) (Robot Googlocalypse is nigh.)
Today: felt severe reservations about continuing my Masters for new reasons, came up with brilliant ideas, and practised skating some more. Whee!
